Good catch!(from both of you)

Thanks, guys. Appreciate your comments.
The gull’s head is slightly fuzzy though. I was shooting him from my window and literally from around the wall and I managed exactly this one shot. So not the best, but I thought cute enough to share. :-P

Starlings.
They love to frolic in the birdbath until they've emptied it!:-)

Starlings - Watching their backs.:-)

There’s something about bathing birds… I love these shots, Ray.

annoying Starling behaviour #11

LOL

PS: why aren’t there any thumbnails in the quotes?

I do not know, but maybe because it is a multi-quote?

Good guess, Charles. Not sure about that though. I multi-quoted Patricks two posts and the thumbnails were present. I deleted those because I wanted to emphasise the funny text.

What I did do with the thumbnails-less quotes was insert them with the QUOTES tools in the toolbox whereas with Patrick I just did a simple, straightforward Multi Quote, pushing the buttons. That could be it.

I just used a multi-quote both from the same user and those did show the images.....

I agree with you, Levina - just how nice it can be watching them splashing around without a care in the world.:-)

Indeed. And they seem to really enjoy it.

Not often I can get quite close to a perched Red Kite without them getting spooked, this one held its ground until casting me a sideways glance and clearing off over the treetops.

Gull Dance :-) It’s almost like he’s looking at you and posing. Well captured, Levina.

Use the MQ (between like and reply) on every post you want to use, than use post to thread.

Nice catch! I hope some day to get as close to one but until now I only got to admire them from (too far) a distance.

I like it when they go after bugs as they go vertical! Nice that you call it “dance”. It does look like it, doesn’t it!
Thank you, Finola. Always a pleasure to see you here.
