I was up uncharacteristically early to see if I could get some fox pics, and this fellow was in the middle of a little field. I couldn't tell what it was in the deeper grass until I drove past, then turned around and stopped for a few shots. He/she bolted, then paused briefly for a nice standing still shot. Shot at 1000 mm with my 500mm f/4 II and 2x extender.

This is what was left in the field after the Coyote left. Today, there is absolutely nothing left. I'm guessing it was a deer.
