Red Kites from our garden, Yorkshire, UK

A few shots of some red kites, taken from our garden October 2021. 5D4 + 100-400II, but all heavy crops.

Big crops, maybe, but still an awfully nice series. Love the ones with what I think is a crow going after him.

Thanks. There was a bit of post processing to improve the sharpness.

I'll admit I know squat about the behavioural patterns of those birds. As it was October I assume the crows weren't protecting a nest or chicks, but it was interesting watching them chase the kites.

Maybe they do it just out of principle. I wouldn’t be surprised about it. :lol: Very smart birds, crows.
