Not sure if I am posting in the right forum, but I am looking for advice on which brand to check out when buying filters. Right now I specifically mean a circular polarizer and a clear protective filter in a 67mm. It's been many, many years (dare I say decades?) since I shopped for filters and back then my go-to manufacturers were Hoya and Tiffen. I am just a hobbyist so I don't keep up with developments but I have no problem paying for quality. Many thanks!

I use B+W for just about all my filters. Always been good.

Can't go wrong with genuine B+W. I also use high-end Hoyas. There are some new, fancy ones out there now. Polar Pro and Breakthrough Photography, for example. Haven't used those but I'd be curious to hear what others have to say.

for CPL, I'll use B&W, higher end Hoya, etc.

For "clear" I use 100% "Airgap" ;)
