Jerry -- great colors. The blues and greens are so vivid, has a HDR feel to it.

Ltdave -- I remember when hula hoops hit the stores. Oh to be young and agile again. Nice capture.

RDWp -- Looking up Pike Place it seems to be the place for street music. Like the black and white.

TimPhoto -- this image makes me chuckle. I like that one shoeless foot.

dilorenzo -- like the POV and the chipped paint on the hood.

TerryPink -- creative image with nice color and good point of focus.

Great selection of images makes for a tough decision this time.

I like all the images for different reasons but I keep coming back to Tim's thinker and wondering what is he thinking. What's next Tim.

HM goes to Jerry.

Well done everyone.

Thanks Don and congrats to Jerry for the HM.

I'm in the middle of an emergency vet visit with one of my dogs, so I won't be able to get a new challenge up until later today.

More detail about my entry.

Rodin meets Wangechi Mutu at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.

The plaque with the prone sculptures: "Referring to the corpse pose in yogic practice, these sculptures underscore the deep suffering of the Black people whose bodies are the targets of systemic injustices. Wangechi Mutu has worked for years with images of women's bodies as battlegrounds of social, cultural, and environmental crises. Equating this image of a blanketed human corpse to that of the Crucifixion, Mutu has made the Shavasanas to commemorate the continued sacrifices of Black people and other persons of color, particularly women, in societies throughout the world."

It certainly makes for an interesting artistic contrast and speaking of art, here is the next theme:
