This weeks challenge theme is "ART"

It can be your art, other art you have photographed, or your own photographic art.

This challenge begins when posted and ends on Monday, May 30, 2022, midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

Thanks for all of the excellent entries this week.

Cuypers1807 - Great background story about "Stubby" it reminds me of the more recent stories of the Ukrainian bomb sniffing dog.

dilorenzo1954 - That's quite the art collection on the wall! I need to print and hang more of my images.

Ltdave - It's always interesting to see artists imitating other art.

RDWP - Your photo isn't much different than the one I took when I was there.

OldCrow - An excellent and intricate art piece, and appropriate to the very Memorial Day.

TerryPink - Interesting piece. Looks like they're passing through each other.

I have to give this one to OldCrow for his excellent image of his scroll wood art. Honorable Mention to Ltdave for capturing art and an artist in one image.


Full disclosure. My judging may be colored by Memorial Day and memories of a good friend who lost his life in Vietnam. His aircraft was shot down by a Russian SAM almost 50 years ago.
