I have put my camera down off and on as a hobby for the past few years due to a back injury and I'm slowly trying to push myself to get back out there and take pictures. So here are my latest with my 7D2.

Soon I'll post up some photos with my new R6! just currently in the debate if I want the RF 24-70 F2.8L or the 24-105 F4L

If you look at the histogram of these two images, they trend to the dark. In common terms, they are slightly underexposed and the high tones are not tone-mapped to the extent that they can be. The overall impression is that the shots are "shadowed" and desaturated (in other words, lacking color). If that's the style you choose, then it's an artist's expression and can't be disputed. Note however that it will not be as appealing to some.

From a composition standpoint, cars have faces. A good practice for composition is to allow the "face" room in which to look. So the centered composition would be slightly more aesthetically pleasing if there was a little more space in front of the vehicle. The shot on the winding road has the car facing right at the edge of the frame, giving the shot an unbalanced look. I'm willing to admit that the geometry of the setting might have given you limited freedom to explore a different point of view and framing, as the dramatic setting is appealing as it is. (Maybe take the car out of the picture altogether?).

Thank you for the feedback! I am going for a "darker" look for this set. Next time I'm out and about I'll keep your thoughts in my mind!

Be aware of the distortion when placing objects at the edges of an image when using a wide angle lens. It is pronounced in the vehicle in the second picture. Perhaps don't shoot as tight and then crop in, or fix in post processing. I like the composition of the second photo.

Just a nit from my side. In the first one. I would crop a bit tighter. The gap in the trees in the upper right slightly distracts. There is nothing there that says that needs to be there. Thats all I got.
