DIGITAL SPEED CHALLENGE # 711 - "Shop”

Since this is Challenge # 7-Eleven, the topic week is Shop: noun, verb or adjective. All and any interpretations.

This challenge begins when posted and ends on Monday, 13 June 2022 midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: ANY DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

Glad to see some last-minute shopping here. Good images, and a nice variety of purchases.

I'm going with Torchrider's hats - B&W works nicely. I have a few impulsive ones myself - one I think from Houston and a few from Calgary. Here in Canada I suppose they have to be sold as 37.8541 Litre Hats.

Thank You Ron. Nathan is an interesting guy and a superb hat-maker. I stopped in one day as I was strolling the town square and we spent over an hour talking. He usually doesn't let anyone take pictures of his hats, but decided to let me take a few after our conversation. I have since stopped in to buy a hat or two and sit down for a talk now and then. I really like the other photos in this competition and particularly like Dilorenzo's deep red lingerie store. Don, I think I've been to that farmers market before. My brother lives in Hickory and we made the trip to Asheville a few times. InPhoto I love the fact that your submission was on film. Something about film just has a warmth to it. TerryPink , our local HEB supermarket here in town has a great floral section. I've sneaked a pic a time or two on the sly. Your photo reminds me of it.

We also frequent the Moose Cafe right next door to the market. Good food and ample servings.
