That building that's being built is on State & Hill, correct? I like the 2nd and 3rd shot a lot.


I am a beginner located in Southeast Michigan.

I like the second picture best, although I wish the building's top weren't cut off. There's a bit too much of the foreground. I'm thinking this building would look well with central composition too. The first and third pictures may benefit from straightening the vertical lines - the buldings are tilting a bit. Thanks for sharing, welcome to the forums!

I've looked at these shots several times since they've been posted. Each shot has it's own strongpoints. The first is creatively framed, but not really to my liking. The second is the strongest shot, but has little life. The same shot with a person sitting on or walking up the stairs would make it a more dynamic shot. The last shot doesn't really do much for me, but you've succesfully captured the motion of the cars and shown the construction of the new building which may just be what you wanted to show.
