I was in my blind by the river for about 2.5 hours today, and it turned out to be times well spent. There's s run of fish (we call them gasperaux, but they're more commonly known as alewives) that comes up my river in Nova Scotia to spawn every June. The eagles love it. When it's low tide, the fish are easy picking. And the two eaglets in the nest (right across the river from my house) are getting very well fed.

Hi Dan, thanks, it's been a good season so far for the eagles on my river. The babies are nearing fledge time.
