I don't want the camera to change folders automatically. I set up 11 folders for vacation wanting each folder to hold pictures from a particular city. Instead I have pictures all over the place until I upload them to my NAS. Any help would be appreciated

Since your profile doesn't show hardware, give us a clue as to make and model of camera.

I did load my equipment a Rebel T7. Must not have saved it correctly. Using the EOS utility or will transfer images to phone and then to my NAS Cloud. Then just share links.

From the original question, it isn't clear if you desire the folders in camera, or after the fact on a PC or Mac device or peripheral. Hence the reason "AntonLargiader" asked about your transfer software.

If you question is about creating the folders in camera, and then using them, you can find the manual for the T7 at https://gdlp01.c-wss.com …s-rebelt7-1500d-im-en.pdf (external link). Specifically the method for creating and selecting folders is on page 186 and 187.

For folders on your computer, when you connect with EOS Utility you can select which images to download and to where:

1) Connect camera, and power up. EOS Utility should start.
2) "Download images to computer"
3) "Select and download"
4) Select individual ones from one city, then click "Download..." in the lower left
5) Select "Destination folder" in the dialog box

Now you can browse to the desired destination folder and an optional subfolder with a naming scheme. You will want to uncheck the subfolder part and just save in the selected destination. When the dialog box looks right, click OK and the images will download to the city folder you chose and DPP will launch. At this point I always flip back to EOS Utility and, while the chosen images are still selected, delete them from the card.
