DIGITAL SPEED CHALLENGE # 713 -- Sunny Outdoors

The theme for this week's challenge is "Sunny Outdoors". Either in summer or in winter, sunny days outdoors are a pleasure and an opportunity for photography, so show us your good times out. Good Luck!

This challenge begins when posted and ends on Monday, June 27, 2022, midnight GMT. Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

Nothing says Sunny Outdoors to me more than summer holiday with the family.

A sunny sundog. A friend standing at the centre, just after landing on a small airstrip in Fort Good Hope, NWT. A late sunrise in early March, many years ago (look at the camera model!).

Just a hint of last-minute sunset hitting the cliffs and Sailboat. CA north coast, expect the late afternoon fog, (called Karl) as a daily visitor during summer months

Ed, what a nice visitor on the beach, he's looking for leisure I guess!
Terry, a very impressive seascape! I like the boat sailing in calm waters while the waves crash on the cliffs.
Don, a day of fun! I think I'm rowing together with the rest people in the photo.
Happygav, a very unusual angle nicely processed.
Rob, an unusual phenomenon well composed!
Torchrider, a family fun is always a pleasure!
Eidelweiss, a serene and cold morning!

I liked all the photos, but I think Torchrider's picture shows all the joy of family in vacation under the sun.
So I will give it to Torchrider with Terry second for the wonderful seascape!

Wow, I'm totally surprised to win this as the other pictures were amazing. Congrats to Terry and everyone else who entered. Great photos by everyone. I will be posting the next challenge soon. I hope I can be a bit more creative this time. I was going to read through all the other challenges, but at #714 I think everything's probably been covered once. Stay tuned.
