Sad news about the Shockwave truck

On July 2, 2022 the Shockwave truck was in an accident, killing its driver, Chris Darnell.
The accident took place at a Michigan air show during a performance.

The Shockwave truck has performed at air shows across the U.S. for more than 3 decades.

I saw the revised 'TopGun' themed ShockWave jet truck at the Great Texas Airshow (JBSA - Randolph) on April 24th. It was from a distance, so these were shot with the Sigma 150-600 Contemporary @ 600mm. It certainly was a crowd pleaser. Very sad ... RIP Chris Darnell.
