Anyone had experience with compressed raw files using their favorite editor? I understand C1P knows they have a problem with those files from Fuji and are supposedly. working on a correction. Any issues at Adobe? On1 told me they have no plans to support compressed raw files.

I have been using cRAW files out of my Canon R6 in Lightroom and Photoshop without any problem for over a year.

Do you mean compressed, or lossless compressed.

Canon has always used lossless compressed. Before recent cameras, there was no choice. RAW files were lossless compressed only.

Until recently, Sony had a choice of RAW or compressed RAW.
RAW was uncompressed and much larger than a Canon file. There was no lossless compressed option. Now there is.
Compressed was lossy compressed.

Canon now offers cRAW which is lossy compressed.
