I'm slowly getting my had around some aspects of astrophotography. I mainly use camera lenses (canon 50, 100, 400f5.6, 600f4) and have just bought an Askar FRA300 to try out.
Using an EQ6-R mout.

First time out with the FRA300 on the Runing chicken, and with the lagoon and trifid nebulas.
Just attempted guiding as well for the first time, which seemed to work out alright

Beautiful. Congrats and welcome to a very rewarding and also very, very frustrating hobby. Some nights go perfect, as these images show, other nights it just doesn't want to work out right. Don't let it get to you.
