We went camping this past weekend and had this guy for a visitor. Not sure if he wanted a little wine, or just wanted a little company. He was large enough he could have taken the wine if he had wanted to do so.

Enjoy

Hah! Where were you camping that this wandered in to your camp site? They sure are awfully large when seen up close, aren't they? :D

We were about 50 miles from Salt Lake City, up toward the High Uintas. The pair came in every morning and walked through the campground all day.

I don't believe I've ever seen a big blue and yellow ______ before. Please, what goes in the blank?

I was told by the campground owners that it is a color variation of a Whooping Crane. The only other variation I had seen was virtually all tan like a Sandhill Crane. The female was not as colorful. . .more of a tan/yellow combination.

Thanks for looking
