Hello everyone,
Well now that my gear collection is growing and getting better quality it's time to put some serious thought into Insurance.

Obviously I live in the UK
So can anyone recommend a company that are good for the purpose.
I don't know exactly how to value my gear as it's almost all used so current market value seems to be the criteria.
Also how much of my gear do I value ie body, lenses, flash equipment, bags, sundries.

My home content insurance does cover some but I would feel more comfortable with it on a specific insurance policy.

Any feedback on this would be great.
Many thanks in advance.

Insurance can vary significantly from one country to another. I suggest you get the title of the thread changed to make it apparent you are seeking information pertinent to UK. Have you done much web search on the general topic yet? I searched "UK insurance of photography equipment' and got this hit, for example

Canon dSLR system, Olympus OM 35mm system, Bronica ETRSi 645 system, Horseman LS 4x5 system, Metz flashes, Dynalite studio lighting, and too many accessories to mention

Thanks for your help.
I have seen that company and many others also some comparison sites that offer the insurance.

I was just hoping that someone would have had some experience with some and point in the direction of good service and costs.

Really unsure how to edit the title I have had a look but don't know how.
