Made by Nikon of Japan, based on the serial number of this lens, it is a late production model from 2003, a beautiful example. The lens has the Nikon F mount and made for use with manual focus Nikon SLR cameras. However, it can also be used with Nikon's auto-focus and digital cameras. Also included is a Nikon F to Canon EF adapter for using the lens on Canon EOS cameras, or other adapters that use EF (for instance, I used it on my Fuji GFX, already had the EF-GFX adapter).

The shift knob provides for up to an 11mm shift displacement of perspective control (PC).

The multi coated lens glass is and clean and clear with no scratches, fungus, haze, or separation. The lens is composed of 9 elements in 8 groups. The 9 diaphragm blades are free of oil, grease, and rust.

The aperture control moves smoothly from f/3.5 to f/22. The focus ring moves smoothly and easily from infinity to 1 foot (0.3 meter).
The lens is in excellent cosmetic condition with only the most minor scuffs to the lens barrel that do not penetrate the paint and are nearly invisible.
