Recent email notified me of an update to the MetaRaw
plugin update, now at version 3.12
This has been great with natively opening 5D4 RAW files into PhotoShop/Bridge CS6, whereas
Abobe's own Camera RAW updates won't allow this to happen. I recommend it highly
if you're holding on to an owned PS version over the rental model.
This is far better for me than converting to DNG before anything else,
and I've found it to be incredibly convenient and time-saving.
Current compatibility includes tons of Canon cameras, including at least 6 of the R-series
and no less than 10 of the M-series.
I don't recall the cost, but I paid a small amount for a lifetime license to include updates.
It probably cost me between US $20 to $30, but again, I can't recall.
I received an update notice shortly after purchase, another a few years ago, and once more
just 4 days ago.
Current pricing seems to be US $49.95 for Windows/Mac, and I don't find a lifetime option now,
but I'd still expect them to surface the offer from time to time.
