If anyone would like to receive a slow-motion video clip of the incident, please provide me with an email address. You will then be able to see for yourself, that everything I said that happened, happened.

Absolutely, no takers. Hmm .....

I think the only reason that no one asked for the video is because we already believe you. . I have no doubt that the person was doing whatever it is that you claim they were doing - using their phone while driving or whatever. . Hundreds of millions of people do this every single day, so it isn't at all hard to believe that that is what is happening. . Since I already completely believe you, there is no need to see it.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Absolutely, no takers. Hmm, it would appear that proving it was the police who lied, rather than me, still means absolutely nothing, if the 'telltale code' is broken. :-(

Bye-bye.

Huh? Nobody here said you'd lied. Nobody said the police had lied. If you expected POTN members to jump into the role of jurors in some sort of trial of your truthfulness, then yes, there've been no takers about that. It was your agenda, not anyone else's.

The standard of proof is higher for court cases than for individuals informally deciding to believe what someone says. I tried to make that clear in an earlier post. The police need stronger photographic evidence of phone use than you provided. Unfortunately, the driver's windshield grayed out detail, your dashcam had low resolution at that distance, and maybe the officers weren't so skilled at examining photos. This isn't a simple case of "Someone must be lying."

You tried to do a good deed, serving public safety, twice. It worked one time but not both. I suggest congratulating yourself on that one success and avoiding casting blame for the second time.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

If anyone would like to receive a slow-motion video clip of the incident, please provide me with an email address. You will then be able to see for yourself, that everything I said that happened, happened. No special equipment will be required, in order to view it. A simple magnifying glass, should suffice. Please be aware that the phone in the clip, is FIXED to the dashboard, so only his hand, will have any movement.

It might not be a phone- it may be a GPS. One of the posts claimed the law was about cell phones, which aren't GPS devices and so may well be OK.
No one here thinks anyone else is lying- you or the police.

If it is a cell phone, or dash cam, consider that he may be trying to take a picture of you taking a picture of him for the same reason- he may think you are illegally using a cell phone while driving.

Distractions come in many forms besides cell phones. I've seen people driving very poorly because they are talking to a passenger. A hands-free device doesn't seem to improve safety except there's a doubt whether someone is using a phone.

Also, a disagreement doesn't mean anyone is lying either.
