I found a 1Ds Mark II at a decent price, and it looks quite good. But some of the rubber parts need replacing. Anyone who knows where I can find some of these at a not too hysterical price.

Here’s a link to a service manual with the parts numbered so you can search for specific items.
https://learncamerarepair.com …Eos-1Ds-Mark-II-Parts.pdf (external link)

Googling part CB3 1440 e.g. gave me this link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152554381670 (external link)

Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Good luck.

I live in Sweden. I'm not sure they are interested in helping me.

indeed true, for a couple of reasons - firstly the 1Ds Mk II has been out of support by Canon for a few years now so they no longer hold any spares at all for these and secondly it seems that Canon (outside of the USA) often do not sell parts direct to the public.

Can you let us know which rubber parts you are after? I'm not hopeful for you but if we know what you're looking for it might make the search easier.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

It's the upper of the two rubber lids on the left side, seen from the back.

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

I'll have a search but not sure where you'd find one - I suppose the only good news I have is that the part is also common with the 1D MK II

Can’t find it there. The ones in the link are for the 1DX Mark II.

Why would you email them? Put the items in the cart, fill in your personal data, pay.
The two rubbers together cost 3.94 euro and shipping surely won’t be expensive as the thingies fit in a normal envelope.

I can’t. When I try to register I cant chose a country, which keeps me from finishing the account.
