Not entirely certain not having seen one nab a springtail but I suspect they hunt.

That does not look like anything I was expecting to see with the partial name scorpion! I was expecting to see the big curly tail!!

Well they do have the claws but no tail plus they are ony around 2mm long :)

Woah!! I do know how big 2mm is working in the precision machining trade over 50 years!

A bit longer than 1/16 of an inch (.0162401 inch) a tad shorter than 3/32 of an inch (.0150098 inch)!!

Will look pretty menacing to a springtail though and massive to some of the parasitic wasps which are often around 0.3mm
