Is there anyway of reading or converting the following old files I have found on my backup?

"D:\Canon Database 12-1-03\My Database2.zbd"
"D:\Canon Database 12-1-03\My Database2.zst"
"D:\Canon Database 12-1-03\My Database2.idx"

I am particularly interested in recovery of the photographs contained in these database files because I was new to Canon at that time and managed to delete my whole photo library whilst attempting a sort or renaming!! Of course I was not very happy with either Canon or myself!
A solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated.

According to content at https://www.file-extension.info/format/zbd (external link) the Canon Zoombrowser will open the older file formats. I'm not sure if that is still available so you might have to do some digging or look for it on an old CD that was Canon provided.

Zoombrowser EX can also be downloaded at https://zoombrowser-ex.informer.com/versions/ (external link). Hopefully something will work with a current OS.
