Judgement time.

1st place
Jerry-R: Hydro electric? I suppose main reason for my decision to award it the winner is that it's such an awesome example of technology.

2nd place
dilorenzo's saw. I like the choice of B&W for this old saw. I wonder how many hours or miles of timber it has cut.

3rd place
TerryPink's steam punk. I love looking at all the bits and pieces. Is that a fork on his apron?

OldCrow: Such an important piece of technology for many, for so long.

LtDave: Curious about that light. It looks kinda cottage industry?

Cuypers1807: Nice. That must have been a huge investment for someone when new.

Eidelweiss: Such a contrast, sitting there quietly. I'm sure it might quite a noise when in use.

RDWP: I'm confused. But that's normal, it a Tardis!

So it's over to Jerry for #729.

Congrats to the winners! Good topic and great variety of responses.

(Re Police Box: sorry - if I'd snapped it a moment before I would have gotten the whole box. Just a bit too late again :-P
But Terry's steampunk would probably feel at home inside.)

I sincerely apologize for being remiss in checking this. Thanks so much for the win. That photo was taken inside Hoover Dam.

New challenge is up here ... https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1527491

Again, sorry for the short notice on this one.
