Below is a baby condor - ok, maybe a stretch the young Condor is 5 months old and should be able to fly in a month. I had just missed the Mom feeding the Condor. Always take you camera out of the car. I had low expectations of seeing Condors in October and left my camera in the car. I missed the Mother flying in majestically with food for the baby. The baby is the first one for a new breeding pair in N. Arizona

Below is the father warning off a juvenile condor. According the the Peregrine fund experts on the bridge the young condor is more curious and does not mean any harm. They said Condors are very social. Still the parents are very protective of their young.

Wow, they even tell you which camera to use, and you did!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I am in awe over the images you took and the opportunity you had. . I've been right there at that place, just a little over a year ago, photographing the Condors there, and never came close to capturing anything like you got. . Excellent work, and I am thankful to you for posting these so that we can see just what is possible at that venue.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I was lucky this time. I was there a few days earlier and only saw two condors resting on the bridge. This time The Peregrine Fund had two of their Condor project leaders on the bridge. They were hoping to catch the mother feeding the new condor. If they had not been their I would not have seen the young condor. I should have taken my camera out, I missed the Mother feeding the young one. The Peregrine Fund people said this was really hard to catch.

They also said late winter and early Spring were great times to find Condors at the bridge. Mirrors my experience, last President's day we saw over 20 Condors at the bridge, many were flying. Last I checked I believe there are 115 free flying Condors in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Pretty nice to see about 20% in one place.

Here are a couple that I took on President's day last year. There was a lot of wind.

I'm not surprised that you had over 20 Condors there on President's Day. . I was there on April 7 and 8 of 2021, and there were over 20 Condors on and flying around the bridge. . Came back on May 3 and 4, and there were only 2 or 3.
