The rocks in the top left are blown a bit, but should I bother to bump to colors and try to bring more color into the shot? Also, any composition ideas for what I could have done differnt, because the more I look at it, the waterfall is just about dead center in this shot.

How about this, crop the right and bottom just a bit. I am at work and have no means for good editing, but maybe a local contrast USM of 25/30/1. I don't think the blown parts of the rock on the left are bad.

This is an excellent shot. It is probably worth selecting the over exposed section on the left and adjusting the colour balance & saturation. The people on the beach certainly establish the magnitude of the falls....it must have been quite a sound as well as sight.

yeah there is some overexposure, and the crop looks like a better composition than the original.

Also I don't like this type of capture for waterfalls. I prefer a longer shutter speed in order to give the water that nice smooth look.

That's a beauty. Gorgeous scene. Mike's crop is a big improvement on the composition.

Nice pic, had a try at it.

Shadows/highlights.
Range with my velvia script.
Added contrast with usm.
Sharpened with usm.
Cropped.
Framed.

Would probably work better with the full sized image.

You beat me to it. I was going to go home and give it a go with your script. I am sure yours would have turned out better anyway.

Wow, the frame looks nice! Needless to say that my editing skills are lacking but I will have to give a few of the adjustments a try when I get home to see how well they work on the full sized image. I originally liked the rock in the shot to give a bit of foregorund, but the crop does look better overall without it there.

Adam, that frame is available by clicking on the links in mickle sig. He wrote a few scripts and has them available for everyone with a minimal donation. I highly recommend them for web posting. You will see lots more on here.

I also for got to say welcome to the forum.:D
