Inspired by Scruffy the Bad Dog (last Competition), this week's Challenge subject is Mess. Lots of causes and types; other meanings, too. All interpretations welcome here.

This challenge begins when posted and ends at midnight GMT on 14 November 2022. Winner announced soon after.

The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

>> THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED

Some Graffiti is pleasant to view, but this is just a garbled "taggers" mess. Still, I have to admire their dexterity to get out on those narrow beams over a major highway to paint this. One day, one might fall into the traffic and become a human MESS casualty.

Thanks folks for contributing your messes this week!

Difficult subject to evaluate.

OldCrow - That is a familiar sight! Classic - except your mess is a bit neater than mine. Makes one appreciate the EU's efforts on the matter https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-63132831 (external link), though I wouldn't know what to do with dozens and dozens I have now.

Dilorenzo - Since your Art appeared to be featured in the Chicago Sun-Times, I was thinking at first it was from MCA - but then I noticed someone had coloured outside the lines. :-P Nice.

Happygav - I have lots of that kind of mess here, too, though mine have been pretty wet here lately. Nice Canadian shapes and colours!

TerryPink - In addition to the messy grafetti, it looks like a wet messy evening and that traffic looks like it could get messy soon.

This week, going with TerryPink's interesting messy mess and unusual point of view. HMs to the rest of us!

What's up next, Terry?
