Sad news, a B-17 bomber and P-63 aircraft had a mid air crash at the Dallas air show.

So very sad.
That second video is somewhat sickening.

Yes, those people onboard didn't have a chance. Thankfully no reports of anyone on the ground being hurt.

So sad. I grieve for the families of the pilots and crew, but i also grieve for the loss of a beautiful plane. There are so few B-17s still flying and it seems lately we have lost quite a few. I've seen this plane a few times, last time in 2017 at the Wings Over Dallas, same show. Not a very good pic, a bit fuzzy. All around, a sad day.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Thanks for sharing this photo, I was wondering which B-17 crashed. It is one I have not seen before.

The loss of lives and vintage aircraft is very sad.

I'm thinking that this (external link) was the other plane.

Karl, a forum member at DPR, was at the air show and captured the moment of impact.

good lord, that's confronting footage. Very sad :-(

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Found another one of the Texas Ranger in my reject folder. Edited this morning as best I could.

I too was at the show. Still hard to believe. This is my last picture on Texas Raiders last flight except for a few that will never be made public.
