This will be using 2 photographic techniques very commonly used. Shoot it low key (dark) and from a low angle.
The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed, not just DSLR.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

>> THE WINNER ALWAYS SETS THE THEME FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE, POSTS IT AND JUDGES IT - BE PREPARED

Amtrak's Bluewater (364) at the end of its run for the day. the track is locked out and blue-flagged for safety and time for maintenance to take over.

Low Key and Low Angle
Yes, and a big, I'm sorry for not getting this out till now. (Real life got in the way last eve)
1 LtDave got my eye as soon as it was posted, and my top choice. What caught my eye most was the red reflection of the track and the wonderful Leading Lines. Winner!!
2 deLorenzo, great subject choice, very good in B&W, close 2nd.
3 Edleweiss, Great photo, love the fall colors and low angle, but not very low key.
4 RDWP, great macro of a needle(?) in a cork? Simple, yet lovely.
5 Old Crow, Lovely Faux Flower, well done on the low key side.
But Lt Dave wins! Thanx all for making my eyes happy w/ your photos.

Ahh, gee, I just had to enter my selection, since I really liked the double theme, so here is my Low Key, Low Angle shot this week. An old wagon at an old Orchard/museum. Again , sorry I'm so late this week. Life, ya know?

Congrats Dave. Nice shot. Brought out some good images. And, yes, mine is a straight pin stuck into a bubbly wine cork - with some bonus dancing angels.
