Thanks for the Ticket to Ride on to #222.

Congrats also to Don and Trumper - and to Nic for his Steerage-Class 4th place finish!

(Also thought this a very good topic.)

Back in a few with a new topic link.

[QUOTE=NixEre;19473819]Tickets please !

Although seems that most players missed the connection this time ….

No comments on the photos until the Podium places are taken, thank you.

Here’s my after the contest reading material for your in flight entertainment - my family flying from Delhi to London in I guess around 1958 +/- . The plane was an Air India Super Constellation, the Rani of Aydonya, and the route probably stopped in Bombay, Cairo, Rome, Geneva, Dusseldorf, and Paris …

Those were the days - and sadly I don’t remember any of that trip.
:-)
I guess the camera was single lens - most were in those days :-D

Nic, love, love the family photo! And the Connie Tri Tail is just a beautiful aircraft!

Great image! Not easy to get that kind of runway snapshot at Heathrow these days. I'm thinking I would have made my first overseas flight about that time (and similar age), between Gander and Glasgow/Prestwick. I still have my BOAC Junior Jet Club wings somewhere. :-P
