sure, can I have a couple thousand dollars so I can buy new hardware that will be compatible with anything over v21.xxx ?
do you honestly think it's fair of Adobe to lock me out until I spend thousands if dollars?
Adobe isn’t making you do anything. Also you can get newer hardware for less than that. There are many powerful mini PC on the market that have 16gb of Ram, Intel 5 or 7, and support for dual 4k monitors, wifi, Bluetooth, etc for less than $400. 2K monitors for $200 each, making the cost well under 1000.
Let’s reverse the question. Do you think it fair that Adobe should somehow make every new version work with every known computer configuration in the past; with old RAM configurations, old Intel/Celeron processors, single cpu vs multiple, old OSes, etc? That would be the worst business model ever.
It is normal to expect that consumers have to eventually upgrade their systems. There is no entitlement that newer software should work on older systems, never was a thing, never will be.
The question asked was a good one, what specifically is not part of your computer that the newer versions say they need? Add more RAM? Change video card?
Also there are places that may have the previous versions available for download. Or find an old CD on eBay for that version…. Let’s see if this is helpful:
