PD2700U BenQ purchased thru BH for ~$500 USD, after tax, including free shipping and $50 instant rebate, which has expired at BH, can still find on Amazon.

27 inch IPS monitor, my first actual photo editing monitor. Purchased due to increased printing onto various media, especially when trying to figure out proper exposure for printing. Resolution, 3840x2160, brightness 350 nits, 60hz, PPI 163, color gamut 100% Rec.709, 100% sRGB, says 10 bit but elsewhere it says 8 bit plus FRC.

Initial impressions, easy to set up, no actual tools needed. Came with physical books for setup, display port cable, HDMI cable, power cable.

Base, heavy and easy to maneuver, even has a handle to pick the whole thing up by, monitor itself can be elevated and lowered using just one hand without need of holding the base for stability. Base also swivels on a circular track, so monitor base itself can remain in place when turning the screen. Screen rotates from landscape to portrait mode, and swivels up and down easily. Time will tell if the tension maintains or there is "screen creep" with use.

Ports, 1.4 display, 1.4 mini display, 2 USB type B, 4 USB 3.1 downstream, can act as a KVM, also has a single audio port and HDMI in. No USB type C ports. Audio, 2 built in speakers plus a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Detail upon startup appears greater, CALMAN color setting from factory, will play with individual settings as I go to determine which brightness/contrast works best. Downloaded Display Pilot software from BenQ website which allows onscreen adjustments using mouse and keyboard rather than having to use buttons and respective menus.

Viewing distance of 5 feet for myself, not at a desk.

Update:

Made some adjustments based upon reviews in brightness and contrast and have already begun seeing a huge difference in color, sharpness and exposure.

Did a black image check, no dead pixels.

So far this is the best monitor I've personally worked with and worth the investment.

Enjoy the new monitor! You also selected a great video card (gets everything done nicely without consuming a ton of power).

You probably already knew this but both the RTX3060 and the PD2700U with give you 10 bit (8 bit + FRC). You need to go into NVIDIA control panel and change from the default:

You also should enable 10 bpc support in Photoshop. Puget Systems made a nice instruction:
