They do, especially with day time temperatures approach 100*F.

Waterfall was reworked yesterday from the smaller original. The first customer was a female northern cardinal.

My wife found a different pump and got it for me. I like this one better as it has better perching opportunities for birds such as this photo from a friends place.

Amazing bird photo, Bill! Wonderful capture! I can see why you are enjoying this new pump that your wife found. I definitely remember your other pump. You used it in many of your fine bird images.

Both the Carolina Chickadee, and the Northern Cardinal with unruly hair are killer shots, Bill! I'm sure we will all see your new pump put to good use many times in the future.

Bill, it sure sounds like you are living life very well. Your new water project is obviously giving you a tremendous amount of enjoyment. I appreciate your showing us here on the forums, just how you put it all together from start to finish. I find it quite interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Mike, I have a bit more area to expand with the garden area. I am thrilled I was able to get this much done on it this year. I may even have a second water feature. The current water would be to the far right in this photo. All the area left is open for "development". A before and after picture of the area.
