For still images, mostly event photos of people, how do the ZV-1 AF and face tracking compare to the RX100 VII's? I will mostly use this camera to take pics of a speaker in front of an audience indoors. Thanks!

That doesn't necessarily mean they will work EXACTLY the same since firmware is what ultimately controls the AF system, but the differences (if any), would be negligible or perhaps slightly in favor of the ZV-1. I say this because the ZV-1 is newer, so I'd expect the firmware to be more refined, and because the ZV-1 has a larger available aperture resulting in more light for focusing in less than ideal lighting conditions.
