Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has noticed the difference in bokeh between the Nikon & Canon prime lens 500mm upwards.

I was looking at the Nikon 600 f4 E lens and comparing it to the Canons 600 f4 ISii, I noticed the bokeh on the Nikons seem to be more distracting, for instance if you shoot something with a lot of background foliage the twigs in the background seem to double up and create a weird symmetrical stripy look which to me looks unnatural. Whereas the Canon seems to blend the background more smoothly. I’ve even noticed the sigma lenses have a nice smooth bokeh to them.
Just wondering what everyone else thinks. Another thing as well is it almost feels like the images from the Canon 600 f4 ISii has a completely different look to it in the sense that the compression and the subject isolation looks on a different level. Where as the Nikon looks as though you’re shooting with an F5.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.
Thanks:-)
