EOS Utility

So I've borrowed a laptop from my brother it's running Windows 8.1 64 bit.

I've installed the eos utility that came with my old 350d and now trying to update it to run my 5d.

I'm getting nowhere.
I somehow managed to do this on my old laptop but no I'm truly stuck.

I've been on the canon UK website to download and all I get is a spinning wheel.

Can anyone help me with this I'm literally ready give up, been at it for ages

EU 3.16.0.7 shows that Windows 8.1 is a supported OS. Anything after that is only Windows 10 and 11 since Windows 8.1 reached end of life in January this year.
