Thoughts on the RF 100mm f2.8?

I used the EF lens to photograph coins on a copy stand. I've just started outdoor macro photography and look forward to learning.

I just got my RF 100mm today. It was delivered too late to take it outside in sunlight. I just took a couple of quick function test shots and so far so good. I'm going to try to do a bug hunting expedition tomorrow. I can't wait to see what this lens will do. I expect the lens to be great but my skills may not be up to it.

OK, have fun! For smaller bugs you will probably want to look into diffused flash to get satisfactory pics.

I have one of those flat diffusers with a hole that fits over the lens. I'll bring that and my flash. It will literally be my first time shooting outdoor macro so I don't expect much. If I get anything decent I'll post it. I really appreciate all your advice.
