Can anyone recommend any other places to send two Canon lenses for repair unless Canon UK is the only option?

I've got a 24-105 F4L displaying a ER01 error message when connected to my Canon 7D, I have tried other lenses to make sure it's not the 7D itself and they work fine, I@ve also cleaned the contacts on both the lens and camera body itself to no avail :(

I've also been a dingbat and dropped my 70-200 F4 L whilst attached to my 7D, the lens hood was on but now the lens won't work correctly at the 70mm focal length but seems to work okay at 200mm randomly, and this issue isn't related to my 24-105 problem as I had the ER01 message sporadically over the past week or so, here's a picture of the damage to my 70-200 :( there is a visible gap between part of the lens ring housings.

So anyone think it's possible to get both of these lenses repaired?

Hi.

The only independent I have experience of is A.J. Johnstone in Glasgow - https://www.ajjohnstone.net (external link). Excellent work and service but I am aware that parts for older models may have become unavailable - they were unable to repair an older model Nikon lens for that reason.

Good luck!

I have just had my 24-70L lens repaired and serviced and I found them excellent.

Newton Ellis & Co in Liverpool are excellent

the problem you may have is if they have donor lenses if the lenses have been discontinued , good luck
