I have the Canon R6 using the dual SD Slots in mirror mode, saving the same image to both cards. When I transfer using the EOS Utility, it transfers both so I get IMG_123 & IMG_123_1. Anyone use the EOS utility and have this issue and better yet, anyone using the EOS utility and know of a config change to where I can transfer just the one file?

Thanks ,,, Tom

You could pull one of the cards out of the camera first.

I was thinking of that and probably the best option at this point. I will have to use the same card though without testing as pulling separate cards may mess up the backup bit to where the camera/utility already knows what has been transferred. Thanks!

I mirror files to both cards and only download one. The other fills up and I mass purge it when I know I don't need the files any more.

I use the "select and download" button, then ctrl-A to select all on card A, and download. Then while they are still selected I hit the trash can button.

If you use the "download all new images" or whatever, yes it downloads both cards.

In the selection screen there are tabs at the top for cards A and B. Normally it comes up with card A selected. Just check that to be sure it's what you want.
