I picked up a Canon M3 as a lightweight camera to use on hikes (along several beaches near me)... but I find I need an optical viewfinder. I had a G1x long ago and loved it. Hoping to find one in good condition.

Thanks,
Gary

You got any interest in a G5X? I bought one for all the reasons you mentioned, but I just don't ever use it.

I didn't know there were more than 1 version. I'm looking for the original with the APC sensor.

I've got a version 1 in excellent condition with polarizer I no longer use. If you're interested, PM me.

G1X and G1XII have a '1.5 inch type' sensor, 20% smaller than APS-C.
G1XIII has the APS-C sensor.

G1X
14MP 1.5" type CMOS sensor (18.7 x 14mm)
Lens: 28-112mm equiv. F2.8-5.8

G1XII
12.8MP 1.5" type CMOS sensor (18.7 x 12.4 mm)
Lens: 24-120mm equiv. F2.0-3.9

G1XIII has the 24MP APS-C sensor.
Lens 24-72mm equiv. F2.8-5.6

Thanks, looks like the G1x II might be more of what I'm looking for.

Thanks,
Gary
