It's rare I come across a wild critter worth shooting in my part of the country. The scarce wildlife we have only come out at night. Then again, it is farm country. I just about dropped my camera when I noticed the critter heading my way as I was getting back in my car after watching a Yellow Warbler, and it kept coming closer.

Do you know what it had caught? I can't work it out, but being in Australia, it's probably an animal that's not familiar to me

Thanks - I didn't know where to begin with what it may have had. Great shot
