Red Fox

I've always enjoyed Ian's fox kit photos and I'm glad his opportunities continue. Finally, I had one too. Just yesterday I went up the road to a friend's house at 5:30 AM to see if I could photograph some of a family of Red Foxes that were denning in some rocks on their property. It was a cold, windy, but sunny morning, and I got this shot just eleven minutes after I arrived. I thought this would be appropriate for my 10,000th post on this site. BTW, the adult is carrying a Northern Pike in its jaws and the kit appears quite interested.
