Well, at least that is what they said they were. Who am I to doubt 'em?

If they are poison, then they would just 'have to be' females. heheh

Yep, you got me, I'm a frog wrangler from Paree. Really, these were taken in the wild in Arlington, Texas, a place that is called, Village Creek Drying Beds. (VCDB) It's a lot of water cells that 'were' used back when it was in operation, it's just a back-up water treatment plant now. It is literally a bird oasis. There were thousands upon thousands of this size frog, (and full grown too!) they literally covered the water. I was there every day for around a week photographing these, Great Blue Herons, Little Blue Egrets, and Little Green Herons, plus other things that showed up, they had a feast of crawdads and tadpoles, plus the frogs too. I had it all to myself too It's my best memory in all of my years in photography, actually. (I have a LOT of those pictures on my Flickr if you are ever bored, I'm not trying to get you to go there, but, it was really a cool experience) Thank you, kind Sir, for your comment! ![]() EDITED to add that I had no idea that you were/are so versed in Frogology, if anyone here hasn't seen his Gallery, please do, it's "VERY interesting", as someone on Laugh-In once said. ![]() Thanks for the compliments Randy. Nope oddly enough the males have the larger tympanum, and those are about the size of the eye, so females.

Ohhh, I had the tympanum backwards, that always seems to happen to me. (Thanks!)
