Awesome shots!

I'm getting into surf photography and really enjoying it.

What percentage of shots are you getting in surf sports that are tack sharp?

My success rate isn't that great and I'd like to improve it. I'd say about 25% of mine are sharp. I'm using the Olympus OM-1 with the 150-400. Just curious how other cameras do with the autofocus and waves / spray.

Thanks dude. This was my first time shooting skim with the R5 and I'm honestly blown away by the AF system. I went from around 20-25% with the 5D Mark III to like 90-95% keeper rate with the R5. And I'm shooting at f/1.2. It's pretty wild.

That's awesome. I don't think you can ask for more than that in an autofocus. I'm going to keep working on my settings and hopefully improve things.

Here's the two skimboarders waiting to pounce. This is at Sandy Beach on Oahu. A great place to photograph.

Nice group of photos all very goodߑ, 3 & 7 got key action point ͰߑͰߑ
