Yesterday I received the new MacBook Pro with the M2 processor. My old MacBook with pretty slow editing photos.(Lightroom, photoshop & topaz Ai). Now they are very fast. However, any photo that I edit & export as a .jpg have a problem when trying to upload them to Facebook. Facebook is rejecting the images. I have run into the before if the image was too large, and I had to cut down the size of the image to get FB to accept them. However, these images from the M2 processor are not too big. FB simply rejects them. Has anyone else experienced this? Have you found a workaround for this problem. Sharing my photos on social media is something I love doing, & my friends love seeing the pics.

It looks like I was able to figure this out with the help of Apple Care. I did not realize that the dimensions of the picture would also get it rejected from Facebook. I don't know the exact size that is the limit however, the image I was trying to upload was 11,000 or greater on one of the dimensions. When I use the lot room export module to limit the dimensions down to around 8000 on the long side then it was excepted in Facebook.

Indeed FB maxes out at 2048 x 2048 px, otherwise it will downsize and compress your image. Upload at 2048px to have Fb preserve your original image.
