i was given an HP 4x6 photo printer several years ago and i was able to find an ink cartridge for it and it worked great for the times i needed a quick 'snapshot' sized print. it was expensive because i had to get an HP cartridge. now they seem to be extinct and i managed to find a 7th party (not even close to being good enough as a 3rd party cart!) and so im about to relegate it to the trash can.

has anyone got a good recommendation for a small photo printer? i still have a good quantity of paper (that came with the printer) and im a bit leery of trying to send those small sheets through my Brother Inkjet. hopefully one that the cartridge isnt $70 or more and that might have a longevity (support for it) for longer than only a few years

thanks!

-im just trying. sometimes i succeed

What size are the sheets / paper you have left ?

If your Brother Inkjet guides can be adjusted for the sheet size, it will probably work.

I bought my mom a Canon dye sub printer, they are pretty cheap but it prints pretty slowly. I know some people used to use dye sublimation printers for events when they wanted to sell prints at the event. I know Hiti makes some.
