Series of shots of shieldbug eggs on the underside of a rhododendron leaf in the garden.
After 14 days only 3 of the eggs had hatched each producing a tiny parasitic Scelionid wasp.
The next day everything had disappeared including the egg cases.

Richard yes, that's one of the Scelionid parasitic wasps that came out of the eggs instead of shieldbug nymphs.
