It seems that Momma bear gave the heave-ho to her 3 year-and-a-half year old cubs, and the 3 of them are spread out along my dirt road, usually seen in the ditches eating the fresh green grass before bolting into the woods when a car comes by. I approached this guy verrrry slowwwly and he didn't take off, rather just went to the edge of the treeline and waited for me to get a couple shots. Then I left him alone. Taken from my car with a 500mm f/4 lens and a 1.4X extender.
