My wife, who just hates when I take pictures of her, posed for me for 5 minutes. Any and criticism is welcome!

Taken with the 28-135mm, One AB800 with Brolly Box to left of photo.

Tremendous portrait. Good pose, lighting. She has a lot of beauty & character and you've captured it well.

Great portrait lighting. Is it just me or is there a little bit too much glare on her face.
I think it's from the oiliness of her skin, it could've been easily avoided... bt I'm affraid that I cannot eplain how to get rid of the shine and be "politically correct".

No need to be politically correct! As a matter of fact, I'd enjoy the opportunity to explain. She had just come home from working all day, when I coaxed her into taking some pictures. She hadn't hadn't had a chance to put on fresh makeup! Hence, the glare!

Well done with the lighting. Also I have to agree with the glare. I always have the same problem. I have tried to fix that in PP but seem to make it worse. Anyway, I think you did a pretty good job.

I like it, but would have liked to see the light a little more to her right. Tell her to come back in that you have to re-do it for me :)

You boys should know (what all us girls do know) an essential piece of kit in every phographers bag has to be translucent powder and a makeup brush!!!
Not to mention blusher...
