When I go to menu, I do not have a selection for AF, Auto Focus. Any ideas?

Are you using the camera 'through the viewfinder' or are you using it in LiveView mode ? I very rarely shoot video and I am using the camera through the viewfinder. I also rarely use live mode unless I am setup on a tripod shooting macro.
